Durga for the nine nights
Navratri honours Durga and her forms over nine nights, ending in Dussehra, which celebrates the victory of good over evil. For many families it's the time the home mandir is cleaned, decorated and given its focus. Our Durga is shown riding her lion, 3D printed as a single piece in PETG-HF and finished by hand in Townsville.
Which size for your mandir?
- Altar · 123 mm · $49, the main murti for a home mandir or altar shelf.
- Car · 89 mm · $29, for a flat dashboard area on a non-slip mat, clear of airbags and your view.
- Desk · 50 mm · $15, for a small shelf, desk or bedside, and an easy gift.
- Complete Set · $75, all three sizes in one finish ($93 separately).
Finishes are black, white and gold. Gold is the most traditional choice for a festival altar; white and black suit a modern space. See the size guide for more.
Around the mandir
Durga often sits with other deities through the festival. Shiva in meditation, Hanuman and Lakshmi come in the same sizes and finishes, so they match on one shelf. The whole range is in the Gods collection.
A note on puja and safety
The murti arrives as-is and is not pre-consecrated. It is made mainly as a decorative statue, but it's no different from the murtis many families use for daily ritual, so follow your family's or priest's practice. During aarti, keep diyas, candles and lamps a safe distance away and don't leave a flame close to the statue for long.
