This is a Shiva murti seated in meditation, 3D printed in one piece in PETG-HF and finished by hand in Townsville. Choose altar (123 mm), car (89 mm) or desk (50 mm), in black, white or gold, from $15.
Shiva is shown seated in meditation: still, upright and inward. It is as much at home in a study or yoga space as on a mandir.
Finishes and material. Matte black, white or gold. Printed whole in PETG-HF, a tough plastic that handles warmth better than standard PLA, and finished by hand.
Care. Dust with a soft, dry brush, and avoid solvents and abrasives. Keep diyas, candles and incense a safe distance away.

The story
When gods and demons churned the ocean for the nectar of immortality, a poison rose first that threatened every world. Shiva drank it and held it in his throat, which turned blue. He is Neelkanth, the blue-throated one, sitting in meditation on Mount Kailash with the river Ganga caught in his hair.

Yes and no. It's made mainly as a decorative statue and arrives as-is, not pre-consecrated, but it's no different from the murtis many families use for daily ritual. Follow your family's or priest's practice. Keep diyas, candles and lamps a safe distance away and don't leave a flame close to it for long.
