This is a Ganesh murti, 3D printed in one piece in PETG-HF and finished by hand in Townsville, Queensland. It comes in three sizes (altar 123 mm, car 89 mm, desk 50 mm) and three finishes (black, white, gold), from $15.
Ganesh, lord of beginnings, is printed as a single solid piece, with the detail of the face, trunk and hands kept crisp at every size. Ganesh is traditionally honoured first, before a new home or venture, which makes this a thoughtful housewarming gift.
Finishes and material. Choose matte black, clean white or gold. Each statue is printed whole in PETG-HF, a tough plastic that handles warmth better than standard PLA, then finished by hand.
Care. Dust with a soft, dry cloth; no solvents. Keep diyas and candles a safe distance away.

The story
Parvati shaped a boy from the earth of her own body and set him to guard her door. When Shiva returned and was refused entry, he struck the boy down, not knowing him. To undo his grief, the first creature found facing north was sought, and the boy was given the head of an elephant and made first among the gods. Since then no ceremony begins without him.
